  • Day 2: Trek Through Vibrant Red Rock Canyon

  • Travel past the Salton Sea this morning before going to Salvation Mountain, a local homeowner named Leonard Knight's hillside visionary setting. This magnificent work of "outsider art" was lovingly crafted by him out of his enthusiasm and is embellished with flowers, trees, waterfalls, suns, bluebirds, and many other intriguing and vibrant items. Continue your journey across the breathtaking Imperial Sand Dunes' morphing patterns. You may experience a unique Be My Guest supper this evening at the Imperial Date Gardens in the Bard Valley, where Medjool dates are the main attraction. The event might be moved inside the city's old cultural Centre if it becomes too hot.
